Hamadryas, Geladas . . . and Their Wild Companions
From foraging and grooming to exploring and relaxing, it’s all in a day’s routine for these fascinating primates! Watch our hamadryas baboons or gelada monkeys in action—sharing their vibrant habitat with the majestic Nubian ibex, known for its large, curved horns.

You can distinguish the two primate species by their unique appearances: Hamadryas baboons have tan fur with red faces and rears, while geladas are known for their dark faces, light eyelids, and the signature red hourglass-shaped patch on their chests.
